Furniture Arrives

The custom furniture and picture frames have arrived for installation at the Oslo National Academy of Art.

Refurbishing the entrance of the Oslo National Academy of Art is part of an installation by artist Marianne Heier and her project Promesse de bonheur. Various Architects with Aleksandra Danielak have designed new fixed furnishings and signage for the main entrance of the school as a part of this project. Together with 5 hand-blown glass lamps the space will be transformed from a cluttered and disfunctional mess into the functional and beautiful entrance that a school of fine art deserves.

The custom plexiglass furniture and frames have arrived and are currently being assembled. The project will open to the public in October 2008.
